A project grounded in the property
From room photographs to decisions the workshop can use
The useful part of an initial enquiry is not how polished it looks. It is whether it gives us enough truth about the room to ask the next, more focused question.
Describe the problem before the product
We would rather receive three clear facts than a long wish list copied from a catalogue. The first review looks at who makes each decision, how it is recorded and what the workshop needs before production, then narrows the scope.
For Benahavís, we also ask whether the property is occupied, being refurbished or waiting for handover. The answer changes what can be checked now and what must wait.
Geometry becomes useful when the brief is clear
An early width and height can rule out the wrong approach without pretending to be a workshop survey. Once the layout is credible, we verify the walls, levels and fixed elements that affect manufacture.
Ceiling drops, skirting, sockets and door swings are easy to miss in a plan. They are recorded where they affect the furniture and ignored where they do not.
A sample should answer the room
Two materials can look similar on a screen and behave very differently in daily use. We discuss that gap plainly, especially where fingerprints, water, heat or frequent opening matter.
Maintenance is discussed in ordinary language: what marks, what wipes clean, what can be touched up and what is likely to age visibly.
Long panels need an arrival plan
